Directions to the Wardlaw Center

Driving south on I-75/85 into Atlanta:
Take the North Avenue exit, number 249D. At the top of the exit ramp, turn right onto North Avenue. Cross Techwood Drive (the first light) and continue on North Avenue approximately one block to Fowler Street (immediately before the cement walkway above the street). Turn left onto Fowler Street and park in the first level of the visitor's parking deck (Burge Parking Deck is metered parking and accepts quarters). When you leave the parking deck, cross over North Avenue (using the crosswalk at street level) and make a right turn and walk down to the Wardlaw Building (pictured below). Enter the building using the center steps.

Driving north on I-75/85 into Atlanta (from the Airport):
Take Spring Street/West Peachtree exit, number 249D. At the top of the exit ramp, proceed through the first intersection (Spring Street). At the next intersection (West Peachtree), turn left. Continue on West Peachtree for approximately one block and turn left on North Avenue. Cross over the interstate and Techwood Drive. Continue on North Avenue approximately one block to Fowler Street (immediately before the cement walkway above the street). Turn left onto Fowler Street and park in the first level of the visitor's parking deck (Burge Parking Deck is metered parking and accepts quarters). When you leave the parking deck, cross over North Avenue (using the crosswalk at street level) and make a right turn and walk down to the Wardlaw Building (pictured below). Enter the building using the center steps.

Arriving at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport:
Cab: Take a cab to the corner of North Avenue and Techwood Drive. Cab fare is approximately $30. Walk west approximately 75 yards, down the sidewalk, staying on the right hand side of North Avenue.  Proceed through the large iron gate and go up the stairs heading toward the glass doors leading into the main lobby of the Wardlaw Center. 

MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority): Trains take you from the airport baggage claim to the North Avenue station. It is a 20-minute ride. Walk three blocks west on North Avenue to campus or transfer to a bus on route #13 to Tech. Fare is $2.00 one way, and exact change is required (change machines are available at MARTA stations). At the intersection of North Avenue and Techwood Drive. Walk west approximately 75 yards, down the sidewalk, staying on the right hand side of North Avenue.  Proceed through the large iron gate and go up the stairs heading toward the glass doors leading into the main lobby of the Wardlaw Center.
